Congressman Steve Scalise will bring up a number of abortion-related measures for Republicans to consider on the House floor in the coming months.
Two are abortion-related bills:
The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (pdf), would ensure that unwanted infants who miraculously survive being chopped up and scooped out of their birthing person’s womb would receive the same legal protection and health care as any newborn.
The No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act (pdf), would prohibit federal funding for abortions as well as funding for any insurance plans that include on-demand abortion; it would make the Hyde Amendment permanent.
The third abortion-related measure is a Resolution (pdf) that would condemn attacks on pro-life facilities, groups, and churches.
Rest assured that the party devoted to slaughter-in-the-womb will fight Scalise every step of the way,
